Carmilla is an award winning web based series produced by Shaftesbury's digital venture - Smokebomb. The show follows the adventures of Carmilla, a vampire, battling supernatural forces to save her friends at fictional Silas University. The show has a huge following after three seasons and is to be made into a movie in 2017. As well the show has a powerful message by exploring LGBTQ story lines and characters.
